Had several opportunities to interview President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, Including President Obama's historic meeting with the nations governors at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Covered the Delaware Gubernatorial elections in which Jack Markell emerged as successor to outgoing Governor, Ruth Ann Minner.

  • Direct a staff of 50 players, coaches, and office personnel for a national women’s soccer league voted the 2nd highest ranked women’s league in the world.
     

  • Exercise responsibility for scouting and recruiting, budget development and administration, fundraising, practice management, and game scheduling throughout the Northeastern U.S.
     

  • Coordinate planning and execution of events in five states, involving advance planning for transportation, facilities and staff needs, event promotion through print, television and electronic media, and on-site management of music, facility services, and game-day announcements.
     

  • Negotiate with local colleges for the use of facilities for games and practices; leverage personal credibility and league ranking to actively solicit corporate sponsorships for the team.
